I also went to this show. I've seen Dave live once before a couple years ago for the Stand Up tour at riverbend. This time was easily, some 3 times better in spite of (or perhaps partially because of) the rain. You're right about the energy. They were absolutely fantastic and at the top of their game. #41 was what, 20 minutes long? And getting to hear The Stone and Lie in Our Graves? And the joy of my night... Halloween. I never thought I'd ever get to hear that song live. They absolutely delivered 150%, and hearing them Rashawn Ross and, oh god, Tim Reynolds was just almost too much for me.
Absolutely, bar none, the best concert I've ever been to.
Thanks for the comment, Scott! I'm way up in the double digits for DMB shows now, and last night's Riverbend show easily catapulted to my Top 5.
The entire band was fantastic, but it really was Boyd's night!

I came over from John Cole's place.
I like your DMB pics from Riverbend. I was able to catch them at Bonnaroo '05. Last concert I saw at Riverbend was Fleetwood Mac minus Christine a few years back.
Also glad to see you found something w/r/t working. I used to know many people in the food & beverage industry 10-15 years ago, but that number has really declined. How far north would you consider driving for a bartending gig?
