I was wondering about the cut and paste too...
Also, it's not really a "graded" assignment. When I took Bar/Bri, only about half of the class completed the assignment--no repurcussions if you don't do it, other than missing out on some essay advice.

And they siad no cut and paste because it fucks up formatting. Turns out it really doesn't with Gmail so it's cut and paste for me from now on.

Yeah. Dude. Open the word window. Hold down the control button, and press the letter A. Then, while still holding the control button, press C.
Then, go to your email window, hold down control again, and press V. I can't believe you actually retyped everything.
