I don't do any sound byte stuff - it's generally okay the first 5 times then I get tired of it - and I'm too lazy to keep changing things. So, I go with as little in the way of sound alarms as I can get. I have a few enabled - but most are now silent.

And I'm with Teresa on the sounds. Usually my computer is on mute or has real music playing so it wouldn't matter anyway

I am sad to say I have no sounds. But I will....but they won't be the "unusal" stuf. Like Sissy and Teresa it gets old after a while. Unless it's a deep sexy voice saying "welcome home Tammi"...now there's an idea!! 
I'm using the default right now, but when I first turn on my computer, I used to have it say either, "Well, hello, Mr. Fancypants," or, "Alright you primitive screwheads..listen up!"
As it was shutting down, "Good, bad... I'm the guy with the gun."
Army of Darkness quotes, for those who haven't a clue!
And for errors: "You shut up, or you're gonna suffer premature teeth loss."
