I wouldn't worry
In the states, feminism has been raging on for 30 years despite the demographic impact on the availability of breadwinning men. All that happened was that millions of women in the states simply don't marry and learn to live with it EVEN AS the costs to society in the form of single unwed mothers relying upon state services has skyrocketed.
China has the opposite trend except that perpetual bachelors, unlike unwed women, are unlikely to become single parents and require state support. Just the opposite really: It sounds like an ideal way to cull (pardon the phrasing) uncompetitive men. Not very nice, of course, but not the end of society as they know it.
Given a choice between a matriarchy with excess women versus one with excess income producing men, which sounds better?

I always figured the cultural preference would babies in India and China would benefit women, making them a precious commodity, which is what has happened. What I didn't appreciate was that it's not a happy country when you have way to many testosterone fueled little time bombs running around, with no safe relief valves in terms of settling down with women, and investing in a future with children. It's a bit scary.
