Well someone had to come through. I was not at all suprised. There is a reason Astacio was the last pitcher in the pen for the Astros and was happy to see him take the mound.
Will the Astros have any pitching tonight?
They're counting on Backe to go deep, that's for sure. Other side of the coin, for the first time this October the Sox have some spent bullpen arms as well.
I'm fully confident someone in the Astros 'pen is going to step up (

The Astros good pitchers are spent. But not the White Sox. Politte, Cotts, Hermanson, Vizciano got 1 IP or less.
True. And that new bullpen guy, what's his name – Buehrle I think - he should still be pretty fresh too
I'm actually happy everybody got some work. They should all be done with their jitters, and now they just need to go out and get it done.
