I like the idea of not working! Americans are rich. Most could "retire" in their late 30s to another country and live quite well.
Check out the new book "The 4-Hour Workweek" by Timothy Ferriss. He's doing it.
As for me, I liked my 30s. My 20s were a time of trying to figure things out. By my 30s, I'd figured out what was important to me. It made life easier. As for my 40s, well, the knowledge we gain is offset by that damn aging process....
