My wife says she has 5 pairs. Since I am somewhat of a packrat I am sure I have that many packed away in boxes.

My wife says she has 7 only 2 fit her. I have 2 and each of 3 kids have 2. So that makes fifteen in our household.
I was wondering ( yes as usual I am off topic) ... do people in Europe really only bathe once per week? Similarly, how many days of wearing the same jeans until you put them in the laundry? I generally will not go more than two days with out showering, unless I'm hiking the Appalachian Trail on a non rainy days of the week.
Recently, I began to wear my work dress pants twice before putting in the laundry pile. I figured I'd give my wife a break and save on the laundromat bill or water bill at the same time. I haven't told her that I'm doing this but I figured it was the least I could do since she's done my laundry now for over 20 years.
Remember to be thankful for those you live with or be married to. Not a day goes by without me telling my wife how wonderful or beautiful she is. Whenever possible I try to make sure she knows I appreciate the things she does for us.
Don't forget that everyone's wardrobe should include a Canadian Tuxedo.

Are the 47 pairs of jeans in your house which are not your jeans Calvins? This raises questions about what is between you and or she and her or his Calvins.
Does more clothing mean less laundry? Does the frequency of laundering increse or decrease with the quantity of clothing owned?
Is more clothing a good thing ?
If your household spends a lot on jeans I would suggest you find a Steve and Barrys near you. http://www.steveandbarrys.com/
Just about everything here is under $15.00 including sneakers and running shoes. You can get jeans for under $15 as well. I can take my kids there and for $50 buy them a pair of sneakers, pair of jeans and 3 or 4 shirts.

My significant other is a bargain shopper so all of these pairs of jeans likely cost between $8-$20 after sale markdown and employee discount.
Cost is not really the issue, limited storage space is the problem. While going through storage we found bags of clothes some of which still had the tags on (some just $2-$5 from the discount table - so again it is not really the cost here) and one bag of dirty laundry left aside during a move 3-4 years ago.
My significant other also went to New Trier. They don't teach laundry there.
Interesting thoughts on laundry and jeans. When I wash them really depends on what wear they get. I think they have a longer wash life than any other clothing so I can go a few easy wears between washings.

Diego,
Maybe you should have a sale. I know my wife would love that.

If Bill's wife doesn't buy them I have the perfect solution.
You need the Space Bag (You can get more space in your place too!)

(BTW,most of the world's challenging problems can be solved by an infomercial product)

I already have several space bags and they seem to work well. I stored all my winter clothes and some bulky blankets and pillows under the bed. I'll see how they look soon when they get opened.
