I think even Michelle Malkin could understand this concept. If you ever expand on this concept, don't forget the pics of the Decider Guy holding that blown out umbrella or trying to open the door in Beijing.
A 100 years from now, this post will be all that's needed for the lay person to understand America during the "Bush years".

It's spooky how much Bush resembles Ted Bundy in the 9th pic from the top. They could be twins.

I trust that we won't have to have this talk again.
Once the primaries start rolling around, you might just want to keep this at the top of your blog. Not that it'll convince a single Kool-Aid connoisseur.

This might make a good regular feature for your, now that you're not posting Eddie Izzard each week. How about a pic of the Pretend Cowboy "clearing brush" on his estate in Texas, and a picture of someone actually working for a living?

That would be ". . . feature for your blog, now that. . ." Always "preview" before you "publish," TBoggers.

Lesley, I've often observed that to my partner, who invariably responds that Bush may be as "charming" as Bundy, but probably not as smart.

Not a Yanks fan either, but the guy with the 8 on his back was at the beaches of Normandy. So, Yogi gets a pass from me anyway.

Even though I'm a diehard Red Sox fan, I can't object to the Yogi Berra-Don Larsen picture. Anybody who pitches a perfect game in the World Series is the shit.
And Yogi--who doesn't love him?
So don't think of that photo as the Yankees representing America. It's two Americans who were part of something grand who just happen to be wearing the wrong clothes.

thanks. Before that, I thought America looked more like a Russian gulag with its economy outsourced to Communist China, and I thought Bush looked more like the outline of Florida, big but limp.

Sorry, but from what I'm seeing your brillant essay would have to be made into a posterboard and the 29 percenters would have to be beat over the head with it....daily. And even then they'll argue the merits of dear leader.

So if George W. Bush=America, does that mean the Vietnam War didn't work out for us because America was too rich, lazy, privileged and drunk to show up for work?
Gee. Wonder how the guys who did go feel about that?
