Billy Donovan's parent's live in Gainsville, his in-laws live there, his sister-in-law lives there too. His son is a freshman point guard on the Catholic high school basketball team which Billy's father coaches, the very same Catholic high school Billy helped fund the building of with significant conributions. The Donovan's live next door to the Urban and Shelley Meyer with whom they have become very close friends...He will not leave Florida for UK because Florida is the better job, where they don't force coaches to look for a new job after averaging 24 wins per season (Tubby).
