Last time I checked we were not a democracy(thank god). We are a representative republic, contrary to popular belief. I support the restrictions based on what I have seen the public support, i.e. high speed rail, class size, pig cages,etc.

Well, I wouldn't let a few mistakes get in the way of this. We know we can't trust the politicians to do our bidding.
And as the editorial points out, we can still vote no on election day.

I support mass exportation of foreign invaders into our country, especially the ones who can't won't speak english and won't to oppose our US CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.

This is more effort by big business to put the nix on the Florida Hometown Democracy amendment, more taking power from the voter and giving it to the wealthy special interests.

Julio, you couldn't have said it better. Sad that the editors are so ignorant about our form of government. Our republic was designed for stability, with slow, considered change rather than groundswell emotional change based on who puts together the best ad campaign. Each time I'm approached in a parking lot by another citizens initiative hack, I offer them a civics lesson on our form of government. They are clueless.
