Beautiful piece Joel. I've been reading a biography of Winston Churchill. It is remarkable how, in those early stages of WW2, Great Britain stood alone and was strengthened by that one man's indomitable courage. It is evident that, so much of what many of us take for granted, is lost on so many: that there is evil in this world that needs to be opposed. To oppose is not cheap or easy or clean.

Yet the love of freedom that rest in the hearts of those who understand it cannot be quenched no matter what the price. And it will be preserved although its compass may shrink for a season.

Amen Joel, You know the first thought I had while reading your piece was about Winston Churcill

A man of great courge, and yet in need of help and a country across the ocean who would be there to help in a time of need to stop a very twisted peson.

Thank the Lord that we have a man of courge at the helm now and at 9/11.

Times are not the same and the threats are different, as we now know.
Jet airliners full of fuel, and men so spun out that are willing to guide these planes into building thus ending there own lives.

Beliefs so twisted ?????

God bless the United States of America
and the men and women willing to give their lives so that we can safely enjoy ours.

Praise the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Joel:

Blogger Bob Guterma here. I don't know how else to reach you and the other bloggers didn't seem as relevant since you might have some Scripps inside dope.

What has happened to Carlson? Five votes in the last 3 days? No new blog since Moses? Could it be that he's doing an Andy Kaufman on us? You know, faked his own death for the sake of the ultimate comedic comeback? If there is going to be a dinner at his house then he would have to be there right?

Bob Guterma, (concerned, but skeptical)
