I have to admit after reading the interview with Williams (whose work I'm not familiar with), I'm excited. He's a fan of the Cardy and Aparo days...he's bringing back *Cal Durham* -- Cal Durham, people! -- and he plans on using magic sparingly (which I actually like, especially in regards to Tempest -- there have been writers who have dipped into using Garth as deus ex machina in regards to his magic use, and there are limits to his abilities, especially with spellcasting, so....)

As much as I like Kurt, I've been a bit antsy about his issues -- and I know part of that is my own baggage that the 'new kid' *ain't* Aquaman to me and probably never will -- I want Arthur back somehow, someway. I don't know if Williams will deliver that, but I think the pacing of his stories will be much different, so I'm very interested in what the future will bring.
