Nobody cares. I feel like I'm drowning in facts that nobody cares about. It just doesn't affect their daily lives, therefore it itsn't important. Makes me want to cry.
People in other countries are willing to die to have what they think we have, and Americans just don't care that it no longer exists. They don't even notice.
Must be time for a new reality show.
I too am disheartened at the public indifference to Bush's lawbreaking and contempt for constitutional government. I do think that could change very quickly if people learned the program was completely ineffective (or even counter-productive). But that may be undue optimism on my part.
