That's because there are two kinds of Republicans:

1. the libertarian, market-rules-all, don't-tell-me-what-to-do-with-my-money, I'm-not-hurting-anyone Republican, who sees nothing wrong with paying for sex (read: "commodifying humans") because the poor aren't really people, and

2. the authoritarian, do-what-I-say, might-makes-right, get-what-you-can-by-hook-or-by-crook Republican who sees nothing wrong with forcing someone to have sex (read: "rape") because the weak aren't really people.

Would GOP sex that doesn't fall into either of those catagories but violates the sanctity of the marriage vows be a third category? I'm thinking Newt Gingrich and Henry Hyde. I'm sure the 3rd one would fill up pretty fast; didn't Rudy dip the wick a bit before he was free and clear?

I shouldn't have mentioned Craig in this context. I haven't read or heard anything suggesting he was seeking or involved in commercial sex in the Minneapolis airport restroom incident.
