I have a hard time seeing what all the fuss is about. The girl's article is heartfelt and inoffensive. But the comments on the story at Advance Indiana...the comments...bordering on the ludicrous.

'Heartfelt and inoffensive' is a good way to put it. It's really all about common decency.

There's obviously a troll or two or three attacking the Advance Indiana blog. Some of those comments were appallingly vile and stupid.

I'd like to point out a slight inaccuracy in your post. Woodlan High School is in the East Allen County School district not Fort Wayne Community.
