Someone was kind enough to nominate Right Truth for the Bloggin' Outloud's Blogs of Summer. I am so surprised and humbled. I don't think Right Truth has ever been nominated for anything, at least not that I know of. It truly is an honor to be nominated.

Do I have you to thank for that Butch?

On the northern border security, I did a short post on it Friday I think. Not much to tell, since there was NO security to tell about.

It was like a toll road, with toll booths, each vehicle drives up, show your ID (we had passports/driver licenses/birth certificates but they didn't really pay attention to them). We were asked if we had any alcohol or tobacco and then waved through. That's it. Both on the Canadian side and the US side. Sad really.

Hubby says that it would take forever to actually check the massive number of vehicles going through and everyong would be delayed in their travels and bitchin' and grippin'. He doesn't know what the answer is and neither do I.

But we did pull in at the Canadian side and go inside to get our passports stamped. Three immigration officers sat on a bench right beside our car and never even bothered to look inside.

I understand...Um, I use haloscan because blogger doesn't do trackbacks correctly (and I guess haloscan has it's problems as well).

I went to haloscans site and in order for me to contact them I need to sign up an account. Thing is I don't want or use their services, so I'm not going to sign up.

Sorry Butch, but if they don't provide a support e-mail, I don't sign up for anything that I don't need.

You may want to drop a post in their forum on trackbacks if you want them to work with my site.
