Your template settings would be somewhere in TypePad (I've not ever used Typepad so I'm at a disadvantage here. Freedom's Zone uses Movable Type so I'm just guessing that it's similar...)

Caution: I advise you to backup your template before proceeding... really.

Arrr...OK, I've got to stop speaking/writing in pirate speak...hell, I'm starting to annoy myself with it!

Thanks for the info. I've signed up with Haloscan, but I don't see a 'template settings' anywhere. I told you I was technically challenged.

I'm a helpless damsel 'wench' in distress. I will go do some more looking for my template settings.

Arrr! It's pretty easy...

First thing to do is backup your template. Just go to your template settings, select all, and save to a program like Word, Notepad, Wordpad...whatever.

Haloscan has it set up so that you can add comments/trackbacks automatically.

I believe haloscan will install both comments and trackbacks though. So, make sure you've thought about it...

Create a free account. Then click on install.

Here's the Link . I'm assuming that since Six Apart makes both Movable Type and Typepad that this works similarily.

But you know what happens when one assumes.... (it makes an ass out of u and me

Be sure to backup your template before doing anything...

I just heard about this 'talk like a pirate' stuff. "Walk the plank, Butch! Shiver me timbers, swab the deck, hoist the sail, ahrrrg!!!"

Butch, since TypePad is not accepting incoming trackbacks, do you know how I can install Haloscan into my posts?
