My kid's autistic. That qualifies me to get a decal. |

Amen Butch!..a pet peeve of mine too..and heck if we walk a bit more maybe we could even shed a pound or 2 eh?..lol :) |
|
p.s. To answer your question, no we NEVER park in the handicapped places, ever. I know that there are people who REALLY NEED those spaces and we would never park there. |
|
My hubby will love this one. He's always saying he should park in the handi-CRAPPED parking space and limp inside, ha. He's never done it. People get those things when they really don't need them, then let family members who are not handicapped us the car and park in the designated spaces. Now a doctor has to issue the tags, but some will do it no matter what. |

A family member who shall go unnamed was able to legally obtain a permit. And then the legal reason for her having it, died. Sad yes. Give her a right to continue to park in handicap zones? No freaking way. |

Thanks Fred, |

PS, I too have diabetes, insulin dependent, and I don't have a handicap sticker, I walk, as much and as often as I can... |

Great post Butch, I have had issues with people taking handicap spots when they weren't handicap themselves, and more than once have seen it happen, and I have publicly challenged the twits, and made em look so small, they moved the car, and in one case actually left the area... |

I'm convinced that folks who park in handicapped parking w/o a physical cause (apart from the inconvenience of walking a teensy bit) are probably qualified to do so ion the basis of their mental or moral handicap... or both. |

Diabetes huh? Maybe I should apply! |
