I agree! I wonder what the Pentagon has told these naval commanders about such situations. They should have blown the little pests out of the water, then continued on their way.

I wonder what caused those in charge in the situation to restrain from shooting the idiots in the speed boats. History shows that explosives in a smaller boat used to attack U.S. ships is doable (e.g. - U.S.S. Cole). I wonder what the rules of engagement are in such a circumstance.
