Gravatar "Methinks if the recording should turn out to be fooled around with, the likeliest fooler-around is Mister Stone himself."

You know, I hadn't thought of that, but now that you mention it . . .

It occurs to me there might be significance in this incident following so closely Karl Rove's much-heralded, still pending departure from Fortress Bush/Cheney. Could be that Stone wants some attention, as a replacement dirty-tricks maestro and (ahem) strategist.

"Yoohoo, White House — hey, over here. I can do that tricky stuff, too!"

This is especially so since Stone denies the validity of the voice on the recording. Recall how Rove is believed to have once bugged his own office, in an attempt to blame evil Democrat operatives.

Hmmm.

Gravatar Stone is a genius who is taking Spitzer down! He never gives up. Wait until u see what he does to Obama.

You candy-ass liberal dems WISH You had someone like Stone. You have losers like Bob Shrum instead.

When Stone started Spitzer was at 71% approval- now he is in the toilet.

Gravatar Thanks for stopping by, Franky. You are welcome to return and comment in a civil way. Since this is my blog, this sixty-year-old c.a.l.d. reserves the privilege of deleting crude comments. I suppose I was a bit uncivil myself in my characterizations of Mr, Stone. I think I gave evidence that he deserves such. Perhaps you will give actual evidence to the contrary.
