Your swiss army knife story gave me the willies. I got one from my Dad in junior high and came close to losing it to the airlines a couple times. Luckily at the last minute I'd remember it was in my purse and leave it in the car before I had to throw it away. I'm SO glad you got yours back. Swiss army knives from Dads are special!
That SP gift is great. Cool stuff. The bag with the spanish words is actually the card for Loteria (Spanish Bingo). If you ever get to play it's really fun.

I think you should take Travis to get his eyes checked -- those 2 rovings are TOTALLY different (lol)... one has yellow and lots of white, and the other has WAYYY more green and the pink seems to be a LOT different. And besides, I think you may have been trying an experiment, to see if two seemingly similar similat roving would produce vastly different wool (and maybe you were going to ply one of them with something different to create a fresh look. Wow! One is totally spring colours (the Funky Carolina) and the Mama E just screams "look at me -- SUMMER at the beach!!"
(LOL ... golly girl, ya gotta get a good storygoing and confuse him -- or talk spinning until his eyes start to glaze over! LOL)
