We'd love to buy a new one, but we can't until we dump this one off..and there is nobody in their right mind that would EVER buy this place. We hope for a natural disaster too

I feel the same way about my house and my husband and we always tease each other like that too. I remember wanting a yard super bad, to grow my own herbs and veggies and when it came down to it. I hate it, can't stand it and I'm seriously considering moving into a condo just so I don't have too.
it is amazing how the vision of a house doesn't include all the stuff that's wrong with it, huh?
when i stepped into this house, i had no idea that within a year, the deck would be prying apart (not even splintering... PRYING), the slate path would be disintegrating, the outdoor plumbing would spring pin-hole leaks, the tub stop would break, the washing machine would die, the outdoor lights would all rust shut so i can't replace the bulbs, etc. etc. etc.
sooooo don't get me started on the weeds.
this is why knitting is so perfect. knit. knit. purl. purl. notice weeds in garden through window. close blinds. knit. knit. purl. purl.
