Deadlines suck, but sometimes they are just the kick up the arse we need to keep us focused. I'm sure you'll be fine with teaching

Thanks for the toe sympathy -- it is getting better - but I am still scared to look at it too much (especially where the toe n*%l used to be -- can't actually say it outloud - makes me wince thinking about it!!)
Looks like I lost your contest -- figured you'd be done the Stockings for the wedding ages ago (I think I chose the 16th at 7 p.m. or something like that!) ... I hope you get them done without too much stress, so you will have a relaxing few days before the wedding (June 2nd, right?)
The boy (aka my husband T) called me last night -- so I asked if he bought me a present (LOL! Subtle I am not!) -- he said yes, adn that I will really like it, so I asked if it is yarn (lol! single minded, that's me!) He said no, he didn't know how to get to the Yarn store from the hotel, and that everyone he asked directions from didn't really know how to get there either (lol! I have him soooo trained! lol!) Heh! I can't believe that a 6 foot tall, 200+ lb man would ask around in Greenville, South Carolina, for the location of the nearest yarn store (makes me grin to picture it!)
If it's any consolation I think you would make a great, and entertaining teacher.
And did you ever consider registering for the Silver DPNs? (My friends registered for a bunch of crazy stuff including a 6 foot tall giraffe statue thinking that no one would purchase the crazy and expensive stuff... well lets just say they had to find a place for a $400, 6 foot tall statue.)
