Words for the YoYo
She's adorable Alyson and she's definitely not alone in having her name mangled. Our cats, Otokonoko and Otome (Noko and Omay for short), get Ohno and Ohmy from everyone but us.
Remind us to vet our kids names in the future!

Pretty kitty. You're lucky to have a new addition. If I tried to have another pet I think my husband would not be very happy with me. So I'll buy yarn instead.
The kitty is adorable. Now get her to the vet so that you can make sure she & the kittens are all okay (and that it isn't worms instead.)

HA! I am partial to Baba Booey myself. The name confusion thing sounds almost exactly like what David (husband) would do too. We had to rename our first dog (Fluffy Bear was NOT going to do.) and Saskia was called almost everything under the sun for a while. It's a wonder she ever caught on to her new name.
