I have every faith that you will be a brilliant teacher (and you'll have fun doing it).
Let me know if you're def going to Rhinebeck - I'll be there too!!

If your conference is in downtown Seattle there's a yarn store walking distance away in an area called Belltown which isn't too far from Pike's Place Market. It's called So Much Yarn (www.somuchyarn.com). I've spent a lot of money there......

No worries! You'll kick ass and all your students will love you! You have an uncanny knack of being entertaining and witty (do I have to link to Travis' sock story?).
I was so excited I thought for a brief second that the "Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair" was near Florida. Sigh. Is there anything like this in Florida?

Hmmm very tempting! Aren't we supposed to prevent friends from knitting and drinking?

Are you kidding?? You'll be perfect. Your funny, out-going (I assume your not shy), they will love you. You taught a BOY to knit and then to fearlessly face the scary muggles with his yarn and pointy sticks. Yes, the force is strong with you.
