Words for the YoYo

Gravatar Ravelry is dangerous because it is so wonderful. You know how some of those rides at a fair or amusement park come with warning signs, "do not ride this if you suffer from health problems" and the like? I wonder if Ravelry should have a warning, "do not use this site if you like knitting, because this site is great and you will see really wonderful knitted objects that you will want to make for yourself."

Gravatar Thanks so much for the compliments! I am blushing, because I have seen Coloursknits' version and hers is beautiful.

You know, that snow melted later in the day. I woke up that morning and freaked out because I was waiting for the perfect opportunity to take pics of Juno. I only had a slim window.

Gravatar STOP!! I have no business wanting to knit that (even though I have the pattern...)

I wonder how it'd be in malabrigo.

Gravatar Nobody likes a naysayer. But then, I'm used to being unpopular. While I do agree that Juno is beautiful, especially photographed like that, beautiful against the snow and the white form, have you really considered what it will take to knit that? Miles and Miles of ribbing. I know, it is knit at large gauge, but still. You have to knit all that ribbing before you get to the bonus, the collar. But it is worth it, I'm sure.

Gravatar Oooooh that IS pretty, I've never seen it. I wish I had the pattern! I might be able to find it around here. I haven't got any patterns right now that are like that, but it happens often, so it's only a matter of time...

Gravatar NEED THAT! not only because the photo etc. but because it is knit in Tahki New Tweed - of which I have 10 skeins that need to be something...and I don't think I have enough for that.

*sobs*

Gravatar You know it's good when a pattern grips you like that. I agree about that Juno. Beautifully photographed. It makes me want to knit it too.

Gravatar This happens to me too!
I think that part of it might have to do with my pickiness about color in particular. If the pattern is showcased in pink, or grey, or blue I can often walk away. But put it in my favorite shade of green...

I got the bug for the Shetland Triangle recently, and although I'm done knitting it I still have the itch. Might be one of those I have to make again (like... right now).
