I think we ought to consider it 'putting it off till a more suitable time arises'. They needed to invade Iraq and they did it. They need to invade Iran and they'll do it. All we can do right now is attempt to hamper their efforts.
I agree Jez, The time will come and sadly what little noise the protests make, they will not be heard when it matters...
It's kinda hard to invade, when Iran is looking like a peacemaker to the rest of the region and even to the US to some exent.
Gosh, he's meeting with everyone, it seems. I hope Iran is successful and is seen as a needed ingredient to the Islamic and Arab world.
They can't.. They simply can't without getting some event to stoke the whole populace here in the states.
The military brass know, we can't afford another war.. we don't have the money, nor the soldiers.

Well, I have a friend from Asia. She startles easily at some things. She is also always really for an invasion here in the states.
We don't always agree who the invader will be, them or our own.
But, it makes me think. Should we all go out and buy various flags to fly...just in case?
I think the problem our pres is having now can be; he doesn't actually believe in the US, only the power of money, the money he can get for him and his closest assoc.
But, that's may be just me. (shrug)
