On a different subject, just finished reading "First Son" (about Dubya, for the 2nd time). Very interesting. Apparently the Lt. Gov in Texas is more powerful than the Gov. in Texas ?
True about the Light Gov. in Texas. He controls the scheduling of legislation so everything has to go through him. The Gov attends a lot of grand openings and kisses lots of babies.
As to the storm - all I lost was a few tree limbs. I picked up 9 trash bags full - just from the front yard. The back yard is tomorrow.

I used to get mad about stuff like that - not anymore. Like you said, who knows who she was talking to or what might have been going on? In the big scope of things, it hardly matters that it cost me a few minutes but it gave me something to laugh about- not a bad trade, I'd say.
