Where was Keith Olbermann three years ago? He's been derisively ending every broadcast with the number of days since 'Mission Accomplished' was declared in May, 2003 for one thing. Every broadcast. He's been pounding away at O'Reilly, Limbaugh, the Republican leadership, White House spokesmen, Bush, Cheney, et al- regularly placing them all in his worst person in the world segment. I can't remember exactly when I started listening to him, but it's been at least three years, and he's been hammering away at the absurdities of the war propagandists and the dangers of the Constitution shredders the whole time. He's had every author who has written a broadside attack on this administration's lies on his show, and has been doing this for years.
He has been the voice in the wilderness, and he's been doing it for so long he actually has given some of the other spineless excuses for 'newscasters' in the MSM the guilt trip so they had to jump on the bandwagon themselves and put the neo-Cons on the ropes or look like complete fools. Your little posts here and elsewhere sure didn't put them there, I'll tell you that much. You, like me, are meaningless in the big picture. But all you guys can do is criticize the one guy stepping out there in the line of fire on a national scale, so shut up already with your crap.

I decided to spend an hour just now looking for more on the blast at Camp Falcon a couple of weeks back.
Accurate info is not easy to come by, - the mainstream are all but ignoring it.
My above statement that Camp Falcon no longer exists was a bit premature, and exaggerative
- at the time I posted that I wasn't aware of the size of the place.
Camp Falcon isn't just an Ammo dump as many Americans in the blogs are saying
- it's the biggest US base in Iraq, complete with an 8300 ft. main runway, and a second runway.
What is certain is that the blast was enormous and according to one report took out 40% of the living quarters and blew the main Ammo stores to hell. [That includes DU btw. - thousands of rounds]

i even have doubts about the photos which some sites have shown of the extent of the damage becouse when you see this size of the explosion one would think the whole base was destroyed,but the photos show most buildings intact ,the militry is pulling a fast one who else can get photos of an airforce base from a birds eye view ,they are trying to limit there damage by showing false photos.

That (to me) looks exactly like a nuclear blast.
A nuclear detonation doesn't just happen, unless it's armed, it can never explode.
That is the largest depleted unranium ammunition storage facility in Iraq, or rather - it was.
That film is from miles away, looks to me [guessing] about 6 or 7 miles, and the blast is blinding - just amazing.
Ever seen conventional explosives do that?

I am not disagreeing with anybody that the US or the insurgents dont posses this kind of weaponry but the blast does not look nuclear. Could it have been a 25,000 pound bunker buster, you bet, but not nuclear. Then again who knows what the hell they have in their.

It does not look like a shell exploding to me - DL the clip and slow it down and look at it frame-by-frame.
The flash lasts only a couple of milliseconds, unlike normal bombs.
Phosphoros does flash extremely brightly, but it's persistent.

I'm seriously reconsidering that - it probably was.
I just spent 3 hours looking at this very closely and after transcoding the file in several ways and applying every filter known to mankind to it - and doing a frame by frame analysis, it's my opinion that nothing except a nuclear detonation can blank a camera as this did at 7 miles with a brilliant white flash of a duration of somewhat less than a millisecond.
I anticipated that Google would pull that file and I jacked it before they did. A working DL link is here:
