It could be that with the recent and ongoing outrages in Gaza (and Lebanon before that), the re-emergence of Russia as a strong power and its support for powerful (but non-nuclear) Iran, and the worsening world financial crisis, Israel might just find itself quite financially and morally and militarily isolated in its madness. For decades, I have tried to understand and defend the "Jew" when others around me showed their "anti-sematism". I had many arguments with my own mother regarding the "Jew".
She was a teenager in wartime Europe and saw first hand the evil some Jews did in her neighborhood and to her own family, my family.
As an example, she could never forgive the Jewish neighbor who "reported" my uncle for some fictitious political crime. My uncle was in jail for 9 years from the age of 14 as a direct result of this Jew. And the reason he gave was that he hated living in the same building with us, Christians. He thought we would now leave.
For decades I told my mother to get over it and learn to forgive, or at least forget. She was angry with me for being a "Jew lover" and told me that one day I would come to realize what a despicable creation Jews are.
That time has come.
During the past few years, mainly since Lebanon and Gaza, I have learned to hate the Jew. I have made peace with my mother and told her she was right all along.

We get to read a wide variety of writers here on ICH and some stand out in such a dramatic way that it shakes one's consciousness...(if I can be a bit dramatic like that )..among those that move me the most are John Pilger and Gilad Atzmon, but there are also others...I love what they do because they allow me to compare "the validity of my own thinking" and also propel the acuity of ones own thinking...anyway - you're totally correct in what you wrote in your comment to me about Gilad Atzmon...so...anyway...it's Saturday night and I'm having (several) glasses of wine and I'm having a chicken in the oven...it's about ready now...
I live in Los Angeles and the intellectual climate here is suffocating...

the bending you refer to is the bending of spacetime. you are always talking about einstein maybe you should read a little bit more then some pithy quotes.
he said, spacetime is attracted by mass so there is more spacetime packed in denser close to large objects. because of this change in density a straight line appears to bend, or the shortest distance between 2 points is not a straight line. think of it like walking along the surface of the earth, even though you walk in a straight line your path actually makes a curve because the earths surface is curved. and in areas of more spacetime things appear to curve in the direction of the mass.
so a photon of light is just followinig its straight line or line of least resistance, the fact that spacetime is curved is irrelevant to the photon, just like the man walking on the surface of earth.
so no this bending does not prove that light has a mass, although it may well do. this bending does not prove it though.
and as for your comment about neutering and extermination should open everyone's eyes to the "caring" side of your so called socialism.
there are always people in the world who seem inhuman and even evil, to others. neutering them or exterminating them will not solve anything tho. the urge to destroy what we dont like is a childish one. the urge to brainwash and unify everyones thoughts and beliefs is also a childish one. we must learn to deal with reality, in all its unpleasing forms. this is called growing up. that is the point of us being here. otherwise its just a rat race.
why would we evolve these massively big, problem solving, individual and rational brains if it was not for the purpose of solving problems and arriving at answers. smashing things and destroying things means we will never understand them.
far better if we figure out exactly why these people have betrayed their own kind and their own world. they should be studied and examined with the intention of figuring out what went wrong with their sorry lazy pathetic race. obviously they have a serious mental problem, being unable to feel any empathy or pangs of conscience or brotherhood with their fellow men. i suspect that somehow along the way of history these people were subjected to unbelievable horror which caused them to develop psychopathy in a large number of their people.
because this psychopathy has allowed them to earn without working it has become ingrained in their culture. like welfare trailer trash people they get used to doing nothing and so the urge to do nothing overpowers all their other urges, like say empathy and respect and urges to build and create.
if these people sat down and thought logically and calmly about what they are doing and how completely unsustainable it is for their future sons and daughters they would stop immediately. but because this mental illness has become so ingrained they are completely incapable of adressing it in any meaningful way. like pathetic old alcoholics they only know one thing and they will do it until their dying day.
what is needed is a massive intervention by the rest of the world. these people need to be taken out of the main stream and put into state care for their own benefit. and their children need to be taken from them in order that their children can be protected from this awful mental illness. if this is not done then the psychopaths will insure that their kids will grow up exactly the same as their mal-adjusted, intolerant, anti social parents.
