I disagree with you on this subject. The person that put herself in this situation in the first place was trying to kill herself. She was intentionally not eating and only drinking liquids to keep her alive if even that. This resulted in her brain damage that put her in a vegatative state. All the courts did was a favor to her. She was a vegetable after she did this to herself. All that was left with her was a heart beat and no brain activity.
"All the courts did was a favor to her", is a sad commentary on passing our values onto the next generation.
I would hope that my next blog,"State Assisted Suicide" will do more to teach the values that were missed on the first go around.
