1 Thessalonians 5:20-21…Do not despise prophesies. Test all things; hold fast to that which is true.

Anyone that claims to be a prophet must necessarily speak the truth. Therefore, what is spoken ought to be judged in light of the entirety of scripture. Prophetic utterance is not unusual, but is subject to severe scrutiny.
