I think I turned out just fine.
Sorry TF, I'm a football guy. I just don't get the whole baseball thing. I absolutely love going to games, but it's not very easy to do that anymore. And with 160 games a season, how can I really get that excited about one single regular season game?
Of course, I grew up in Chicago, as a Cubs fan, so it's not like I cared whether they won or lost... Sit in the bleachers, drink too much beer, and actually sit at Wrigley with Harry Carey crooning through the 7th inning stretch (boy, was he a lush!).
A summer day spent at the ballpark is irreplaceable. But outside actually going to the games, I just can't bring myself to watch or care.
Maybe it's just me though, all the sports I ever have time to keep track of is Purdue Football (since Da Bears suck so badly)... It's all about the Boilermakers!
