I find that people who don't like the "Fair Tax" don't understand it -- or taxes generally. The idea of taxing income is counterproductive in and of itself. Far better to tax consumption, with a provision to exempt the basic necessities of life. That way you have a progressive tax that is fair for everyone. The system we now have taxes the middle class to moderately wealthy.

It really is time for the Fair Tax.
