Gravatar I read "That Da Vinci Code," and thought it was OK. I'm surrounded by people, unfortunately, who take it at face value, buying into the theories presented by the book. I'm always getitng into "It's FICTION" arguments. As a result, I'm slightly put off by the name of Dan Brown, and haven't touched "Angels and Demons". At your suggestion, though, I'll put it on my list of things that I mean to read.

OT: did you see... There's going to be a House ethics probe of Tom DeLay?
http://apnews.myway.com/article/.../ D89JPOH00.html

He stands up for the right thing, calls a horse a horse, and pledges to rein in judicial tyranny, but he's getting probed because he's taken trips that *might* have been financed by clients of a lobbyist.

All's I can say is that the vague references to Democrats who may also come under scrutiny had better pan out.

Keep on keepin' on.

Your friend,
Linda

Gravatar Let me see, Novel, yup, that's what it say's on the cover. Must be fiction then. Geeezz, how about that.

Gravatar I just picked up "Digital Fortress" based on the recommendation of a close friend... Whether I read that or "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" first is questionable, though
