Hey! Thanks! I enjoyed your article as well. Would you believe we actually did sing all of My Country Tis of Thee in my public school? That was a while ago...I think our teacher had a thing for "the whole thing." We sang verses to a lot of songs I never knew had more than one or two.

I, too, love those later verses. It's not just the PC culture that does this, however---I hate it when churches just sing the first and last verse of a hymn. Give me the whole thing in all it's depth and richness!
