Gravatar OK, so a person who does not believe in your god should not have the same rights as you?

Gravatar Probligo, Actually it works just the opposite; my God gave those same rights to every individual, the only difference is so many of them fail to acknowledge the gift in an appropriate manner. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to explain that.

Gravatar The solution is the completion of the final part of George Washingtons vision. We got to fight for it.

Gravatar I think the idea that minors are not to be included in the freedoms that we enjoy is because they are considered not able to exercize the responsibilities that the constitution gives up. Writers of the constitution do not specify an age limit and back before the....say 1880's it was extremly common for young people to exercize authority over there own lives however the absolute harshnes of life also matured the kids fast. It was either that or die. The age limit is artifically set at 18 for voting and I think most would agree that that is a bare minimum age where responsibility should be leased upon the children. That all agree that no matter what age is set that below that they are not considered fully able to make good rational dicisions and thusly are under there parents jurisdiction. There is no way that the Supreme court should say that a minor child was able to make a proper choice regaurding thier sexuality including posing for pornagraphy.

I see in the Constitution that it is written (I have said this before)for a good people who know how to control them selves. Toqueville had the right of this. "When America ceases to be good we will cease to be great." If we increasingly find ourselvs in a position where we have to increase the strictness of our laws to "control" the populace, then we as a free America have ceased to be what we hear in the news media, A Free Nation. I say we ceased to be this at least a decade ago. I noticed that incrimentaly we were toughening up our laws to absolutely no avail and just like throwing money at schools we were losing ground not gaining. There was more crime not less. As law enforcement got smarter so did the crooks until the crooks figured out that all they had to do was get congress to change the laws to make thier shenanigans legal and Voila now we have a recession that is I say the biggest since the great depression.

You T.F. are chronicalling the matter very well. But the answer is not tightening up the laws. If there is a; quote conspiracy unquote, the call for tougher laws and more of them falls right into the hands of the people who are saying that we need a more involved government. The exact opposite of what I believe that you really want and exactly why you are probably seeing and constantly battling with some of the most incredibly absurd new laws such as the President signing a law protecting homesexuals piling a law on top of law which we both see as an evil and completly unnecessary, blatantly unconstitutional by setting a side a minority group (like 2% of the population)for a special protection or consideration not to mention ruining half the jokes that really make me roll on the floor with laughter..

That agin falls under the heading of; if we can't git it done with the laws that are now in force then there is something else wrong and this country is playing here we go round the mulberry bush instead of dealing with the real issue.

Again please try to overlook the s

Gravatar Ron, I use a word processor most of the time to check spelling, I'm terrible, mostly because I was such a poor student when most others were learning to spell.

Gravatar For the really long comments I usually go to my site and write it there, it has spell check. I have to comfess that my spelling and grammer are one of the least of my concerns in this world. Al has arrived for my Grandmas funeral. I am interested to see how the face to face interaction is going to play out between me and him.

I see he brought his secret weapon. His baby girl Alena.

She is a cutie.

Gravatar Nobody mentioned that the act of graffiti centers on abuse of a property which does not belong to the "artist"; many times the act is one of gang territorial confiscation rather than art; a warning to anyone crossing "their" turf. Regardless, graffiti is not a national issue to be played with by Congress; it's a local issue and should be treated as with any breech of law by the justice system in place.

Gravatar I agree but then again that is covered under property damage laws.

No need to write laws expressly covering someone marking up something that doesn't belong to them when we already have those laws on the book.
Too bad we couldn't cane like in Hong Kong.

Gravatar Perhaps it's time for us to start urinating on pictures of obama, leftists have few other gods so he'll just have to do. Let them enjoy that.

But just the mere thought of it feels childish, stupid and disgusting.

The reason many on the left get away with so much is because they aren't forced to swallow their own medicine. But there will come a day when we may have to lower ourselves to their disgusting level and return the favor.

Gravatar MK,

"But just the mere thought of it feels childish, stupid and disgusting."

That about says it. I had a fellow on Facebook just the other day, one I butt heads with every now and then, who dropped to the level of profanity in my direction. Such a waste of time to bother with folks like that; all they know how to do when backed into a corner is swear and cuss or threaten who ever doesn't agree with them.

Gravatar They are the type of verbal bullies I have mentioned in the past. When comfronted face to face they cower. Ultimately they have no answers. I have always wondered why they didn't move to Russia or somewhere where there was a an entrenched social government.

Gravatar "No need to write laws expressly covering someone marking up something that doesn't belong to them when we already have those laws on the book. "

That is about the only sensible comment I have seen on the topic.
