I read somewhere, it may have been on the blogsite, Stop the ACLU, where there are 57 Islamic states; that would fit with Freudian slip too.
That would figure...
The really funny thing about his "gaffe" is that, in context, you can tell he's talking about having been in 57 states, lacking only one in the continental U.S. He went on to say that his advisors had ruled out campaigning in Alaska and Hawaii.
So, that means he was referring to a 60-state U.S.
Yeh, yeh, he was tired. So? Makes that kind of bonehead mistake that any fifth grader would sneer at just cos he's a wee pooped, what's he gonna do with the proverbial 3:00 a.m. phone call?
He should have a new campaign slogan,
"Obama: He really isn't smarter than a fifth grader."
(Would Jeff Foxworthy use that one? Maybe he could have Barry Hussein Obama-Winfrey on his lil quiz show and see how he does, eh?)
