Gravatar I could hear mom yelling at you when she got home. That was funny.

Gravatar Lucy,

If you manage to read this, straightjacket Fraser and don't let him out of your sight!

Let his body have time to "check the front end, upper and lower control arms, replace all the shocks with original, align the front end, tighten up the transmission, a full tune up with new wires and plugs, change all the fluids and flush the radiator, top off the A/C to make it more efficient and that about covers it. It should take (a while); just as long as it all happens (and he's as good as new) before (you release him) to work.

Thank you.

>> Fraser, thanks for the truck description. I couldn't have written it better, being a automobile idiot.

Now be good, hear?

Gravatar Teflonman, He did all of that while I was out running some errands. I was ready to kill him when I realized what he had done. He is not supposed to be driving yet! I don't think he will be trying that little trick again.

Gravatar Leave it to the women to sit on us. My wife makes me take walks. Glad you are feeling better.

Gravatar Listen to your wife, and your life will be longer, happier and healthier. Trust me. You know it is true.

Glad you are back!

Gravatar Fraser,

Man! You have a FORMIDABLE wife. I just read through her May 05 blog entries and she entirely blew me away.

(Lucy, wait till you find out that ricecookers can do what the crockpots can do, but in an hour! )

And I just realised that you two are tigers. One's aquarius and one's virgo (direct opposites - could get fiery).

Without even prior discussing, you two probably can do the flank and attack on the people you dislike and disembowel them unsuspecting fellows.

Happy 36th Anniversary. Here's wishing you to many many many great years ahead!

- Teflonman

Gravatar "Without even prior discussing, you two probably can do the flank and attack on the people you dislike and disembowel them unsuspecting fellows."

I'll have to admit, I never thought of our varied characters in that particular light. We did well working the Astrodome together; she was the popcorn girl and I the soda boy, not quite disemboweling the unsuspecting, unless you consider that we also cooked up some of the oldest hot dogs on the planet once in a while...

We do work well, getting things done, always have. She's been able to make our budget work on whatever amount of money I brought home; hope she still has the nack, it might be a while before money starts trickling in again.

Gravatar Fraser,

Dun brood too much. Concentrate on getting well again. That's the most important. I think doing that would take Lucy's worries away too.

I'm sure you'll be bouncing back soon and you'll ride through this.

Gravatar Sorry friend, I've got to side with your wife on this one. While I understand your desire to get the truck taken care of while you couldn't otherwise use it, there was probably a better way to get it there.

Just focus on getting yourself better.

Gravatar I've spent my time in the time out chair, all is forgiven.

Gravatar BYW, Happy 36!!! My bride and I celebrate 15 today the 25th. I still remember how great she looked on her Dad's arm coming out of the orchard. Best day of my life. I wonder how she has put up with me for all these years. We are lucky men.

Gravatar TF

A belated happy anniversary. That's a lot of years to grow closer to each other -congrates!

Gravatar I listened to a talk by Elder Stanley many years ago when he explained growing closer to eah other and the way love grows forever. He placed his hands together, the palms touching to form an angle. He explained that when you start out together, pointing to the place where the hands touched, that was the amount of shared love and that as time goes on the amount able to be shared increased, pointing to the ever widenieng angle. It never ends he explained, even into the eternities.

I always thought that was the best way to explain how love grows and how much I depend on shared love between Lucy and myself. I can only wish to same for anyone with a sweetheart to have for time and all eternity.
