I'm wondering...how do you (or others) translate "Biblical servant leadership" into an effective management style? Personally, I find that if I start by asking "How can I help you..." I'm often able to get to the heart of the matter and serve first. I'm curious about others thoughts/philosophies.

Phil...great question! Here is how I usually start...which is just a slight variation of yours: "What can I do to help you be successful?" Not only is it something one does not hear much, but it makes them immediately realize that your purpose as leader is to help them grow; that their needs come before your own. Hope that helps. TMH
