I love the quote you chose because it is the credo that distills Greenleaf's lifelong wisdom about the possibilities of organizations.
Greenleaf knew Robert Frost and whenever I see this quote I think of one stanza of a poem Frost wrote called Two Tramps in Mudtime:
Only where love and need are one,
And work is play for mortal stakes,
Is the deed ever really done
For heaven and the future's sakes.
