Gravatar I worked for a US corporation that the CEO was awarded 24 millions, 30 millions then 35 millions as bonuses because of the money she saved by laying-off employess, closing down factories, sold whatever parts of the corporation that 'deem' no longer profitable etc. etc. etc.

At the sametime, employees/engineers are overloaded with additional functions because of shortages of helping hands. Add to that, no bonuses for a number of years.

And another CEO who walked away with 20 millions even when FIRED (same corporation) and a pension of 1 million a year for him and his wife for the rest of their lives. He was fired because he did not perform as on his contract.

Same company -- stock options given to CEOs and officers have different treatments than those given to the regular employees. I lost all of mine when I was laid-off. LAID-off. NOT because I did not perform per my contract.

I hope your university is producing future leaderships that worth my respects. I have NONE, for any of the CEOs, excecutive directors, directors, managers etc. from the 5 years that I spent with that company.
