Tom...On average I view the blog 3-4 times per week...I love the insight shared on the variety of topics...at some point...and not that you or Trevor should be responsible...it would add, in my opinion, another dimension to the info, if we shared how "we" inculcate these principles in our lives and work....move a little from theoretical to the practical...the KD Industries and Toro stories are great to be told...but is that all there is???
Thanks for "listening."

Wayne,
Thanks for the comments. I agree that learning more about the common folks stories of servant leadership would be most interesting. If anyone has stories they would like to share email me a copy and I would be glad to post for others to read.
David,
Thanks for checking in and the feedback. Hope you keep coming back.

For a modern day example of servant leaders, I suggest the Sherpas of the high Himalayas who guide and porter Western Everest expeditions. They are attracted to this dangerous work by its generous pay scale and thrive in the service of others. Often times attempting hazardous rescue missions at grave risk to themselves, frequently perilous and sometimes fatal. Their belief in the importance of the circumstances of their present death as a prelude to their next reincarnation, and in fact, on their last thoughts may well be wotrh our consideration. Quite a lot is written on their service.

I'm subscribed to your blog through Bloglines, and find myself reading most of the posts.
I like best the posts in which you weave several threads together into a new insight (recent examples I liked include Sep 10, Sep 7 and Sep 3). These usually spark introspection, and often form important pieces of my own posts.
I don't get as excited by the posts about Insights.
Keep going - I'm learning from you!

Walter,
Thanks for the thoughts on the Sherpas. Finding time to look into all the great examples is always a problem on my end. If you have more thoughts on them and how they relate to servant leadership, maybe with some links to more info, I could try and turn it into a post for others. Just send me an email with the info and I could post. My email address is jablonski@usfamily.net.
Kent,
Thanks for your feedback also. The "Insights" posts are coming from an old assignment I had while in Viterbo's SL program. I use them when lack of time and motivation keep me from coming up with something completely new.
And with lack of time tonight I think I will just keep listening.
