Nice essay by Ms. Wheatley. I especially appreciated her idea re: "We are interconnected to all life..." I understand her idea as "empathy"---the work of seeing situations through the eyes of others. When I think of my favorite servant leaders, I find they are highly empathetic. The more empathetic I try to be, the greater my own peace of mind.

Thanks for the comment. Keying in on empathy is the key to being an effective servant leader, but also one of the hardest aspects to practice. For me, I find I keep getting in the way.
