Gravatar Welcome, Adam! We hope to hear more from you!!!

Gravatar I find his definition of talent interesting... in that we discover something within our selves that we have not learned from someone else...

Innate so to speak...

But how do we know what we are learning on our OWN with the absence of outside stimuli/influence?

When looking at the "stars" of today, each one of them has a very unique style... some more prominent than others... so I see validity in Pirandello's thoughts...

But is there an aspect of his thoughts that cause the talent to think too much and thus over act? Or be so focused on the internal that the audience is left behind and the talent just looks like they are performing a selfish act for selfish reasons?

Gravatar True talent is apparent early on and is not something can be "learned". Either you have it in the raw already, or you don't.

Pirandello's definition then, is accurate, and is what separates the overanalyzing mediocres from the naturals.
