Gravatar Hey there, Cookie!

Took your advice from over at Mighty Mom's and linked on over to this post and all I can say is that I'm impressed! This story reads like something right off of the stage - badass guy finds himself on the stage and turns his life around beating the odds of being a thug and loser his entire life! Bravo!

I wish I had some sort of musical talent other than butchering perfectly good songs when I attempt to sing them but even though I can't carry the proverbial tune in a bucket, I certainly appreciate those who can! You listed some of my very favorite plays in this list, though I never got to see "Seven Brides For Seven Brothers" on stage - at least not yet!

The last play I saw was a revival of "Kiss Me Kate" and before that it was "The Music Man" - two plays I also adore. I just wish the cost of a ticket to a Broadway show wasn't so cost prohibitive these days as I'd still be heading down there at least once a year with my cousin attending one or another. We always go for the musicals, the older musicals!

I'm going to have to come back by and visit more often - you've got a very nice blog here and what you with being an old cop and a veteran to boot and the original Patrick Swayze, how can I not return??

Have a great weekend!

Gravatar Thanks for the nice remarks Linda...although it would have been better if I actually looked like Patrick Swayze the way he looked back then.

I thought you might appreciate the music in that you love B'Way musicals, as do I.

BTW...most of my posts are appropriate for all folks....BUT...on occasion, I post R-Rated material such as minor nudity, or adult content...SO...I always give fair warning that Adult content is coming up...that way...nobody gets offended...

Thanks again fer stoppin by amiga...and lookin forward to seein ya at the Cookshack ever now and agin...
