Well, fit me for a tin foil hat, but that's what I believe. Gun control, health care reform, NAIS and a dozen others--it's about controlling the populace. When We the People are totally dependent on the government for all of our needs and unable to stand on our own (because to do so has been regulated out of existence), then "they" have total control--and that's the real goal, IMHO.
