Hmm, the advert is very well done, but is yet another example 80s fake nostalgia (fauxstalgia?) that I've ranted about in the past - and it's a little forced at times (a bloke selling papers outside Heathrow Terminal 1? Really?)
I suppose Virgin have a valid reason for it though - better than the 118 adverts with the bloody A-team theme tune in it. Speaking of music, why use "Relax" in an advert with glamorous scarlet-clad stewardesses? Confusing.

Who'd have thought it. Relax gone from banned by the BBC to advertising another British institution.
Yes, it's fauxstalgia, but - for once - mostly well done. In particular, the little flick of the stewardess' hair which shouts out to me, "80s shampoo advert".
