I think the problem is one of deduction. Deduction is bound to be based on premises that are not true if the conclusion of the premises is false. In this case, all I need to say is BUT GOD DOES EXIST. Therefore, by definition the deduction is wrong based on my experience. So if you deduce, that the earth is flat from your premises, I must conclude that your premises must be false becasue THE EARTH IS A SHERE.
So I start from a simple statement of the facts which either are believed or not. God created a world in which His elect few will experience His pleasure and joy. God's nature is such that love is the ultimate joy and pleasure. Therefore God created a world in which the story unfolds ending with His elect experience the ultimate love for God.
These are the facts...Is it OK to say you cannot prove the existence of God from pure deduction without any reference to facts.
