That really was a BS Red Card, Bradley was not only going for the ball, it looked like he got the ball!
Only plus for being sick is being able to watch mid-day sports.
I'm hoping for South Africa in the final since I have to work with two.

I have a colleague who is Spanish and I said to him in half jest on Monday that USA would win 2-1. We both kinda chuckled and went on about our day. I called that S.O.B. the minute the final whistle blew and said just one word "scoreboard" and then hung up.

Bigger than USA v. USSR? In hockey or soccer? Either way, not as big. But still impressive.
If only it was not going to be a flash in the pan. Sigh.

Two remarks....(1) Bradley should have never received the red and (2) Dempsey is a striker. He's so much more involved there and looks comfortable. Pair him with speed. He plays like a big man with his hold up and ball winning ability.

it was amazing to follow, but without Bradley they need even more miracle in the final (likely vs Brazil)....

The bullshit red cards keep on coming. Soccer is going to end up needing a challenge rule just because of this particular ref (ok, most of them suck and buy into ridiculous flops).

I mean. Can we pretty much all agree here that U.S. has been on the receiving end of three crap red cards? I know we are disliked but this has to stop.
Also not as big as Miracle on Ice because the game lacks the political backdrop. But probably the biggest win for USA on the pitch since At least 1998 and maybe even since beating England in 1950. Now we just need that effort to show up next year.
